We all have our preferred way of cooking in our preferred comfortable and easy reach kitchen. Our recent client who likes cooking, requests 3 important details for his kitchen. Choose The Kitchen Appliances

The client wanted to select kitchen appliances that would suit the furniture design. However ,what happened is that we allowed him to buy the kitchen appliances of his choice first, rather than having the design first. Adjusting modular kitchen design is easier than selecting a microwave that would fit perfectly in a cabinet we would make. The idea was to select kitchen appliances during the design-phase so we can integrate within the layout according to their exact sizes. This makes their kitchen have no similar modular furniture in Davao. 

Since the client and his wife were both fond of cooking food and creating concoctions of all sorts, we also had to allocate adequate wall sockets for the appliances. As a bonus, we made sure to keep the kitchen well ventilated to eliminate bad odour and create a smoke-free space by installing a vent. Modular furniture is planned in detail. No changes can be incorporated when the modular kitchen is under production.

Optimise Storage

A growing family will normally have a lot of clutter everywhere in the house. People aren’t that easy to train where things are supposed to be placed. The kitchen is expected to have more clutter. Our client wishes to have more storage to avoid this problem as much as possible. To create a customized cabinet to suit the storage requirements of the kitchen, we had to analyze and layout the space and the cabinet with all the things placed in the kitchen. 

As a solution we created a tall pull-out vertical soft sliding pantry storage. This optimises the vertical storage of overhead cabinets till the ceiling level if wanted. To add a bonus feature, the height of the storage may be too high for kids to reach. If you want to limit the food kids eat, it's easy to place it at the top shelf and keep it concealed with its height. Consider that too much sugar is not good, especially for kids who are hard to handle. 

The Golden Triangle Rule

Our client’s final consideration is the possibility of following the golden triangle rule for kitchens. According to the golden triangle rule, the preparation slab (sink), storage unit (refrigerator), and cooking range (stove) must be positioned 1-3 meters away. 

The sink, stove, and refrigerator are the kitchen's focal points, and they must be correctly positioned. We placed the stove and refrigerator opposite one other, with the sink in the center, to make a tentative triangle. To make this golden triangle considerably more user-friendly, we examine little things such as placing commonly used equipment closer to the refrigerator.
